Ohio Avenue Youth Center

Programming at the center for youth and families includes counseling, early childhood services, arts, and recreation. Leadership development and drug, alcohol, and violence prevention are the focus of after school performing and creative arts activities.

Community-based after-school and summer camp programming provide opportunities for young people ages 8-17 to enhance their personal growth and development.

Youth activities include:

Art
expressing talents in painting, ceramics, and other art materials
Computer Lab
learning through educational activities and help with homework during the school year
Healthy Leaders
leadership development to help youth address their communities' problems; nutrition and physical fitness activities
Music creation
learning music, teamwork and dedication to music and performance
Photography and videography
instruction in still photography and creation of videos with music
Recreational activities
games, including pool, ping pong, basketball, and much more!
